Swiss Financial Services - PARIS

Swiss Financial Services (SFS) maintains the bookkeeping for hedge fund managers. Because of the company's strong growth with several international subsidiaries, the previous MS Access-based application reached the limits in terms of performance.

Inventage realised the three-tier PARIS (Portfolio Accounting & Reporting Information System) solution based on Eclipse RCP. All possible trade types are supported when keeping accounts. This means that besides traditional buy-sell, roll-up/collapse, split, stock dividends or account transfers are all covered. The solution also provides for the management of instruments, administration of master data, or past history views under Funds History.

The numerous report forms, such as All Trades, Monthly P&L, Realized Gains or Losses, etc., were all developed with Eclipse BIRT. This means that Excel, PDF or HTML documents can be deduced without extra effort.

To achieve high performance, each office around the world is equipped with its own database. These databases are synchronised among themselves via the Internet. As an example, this means that changes made in Singapore are available in Zurich within seconds.
