homegate.ch is Switzerland's largest real estate marketplace in the Internet. The website has a daily hit count of over 4.5 million page views.

Through the acquisition of immopool by homegate, a subsidiary of the Cantonal Bank of Zurich, the need arose for the comprehensive development of a solution with the following emphases:

• Integration of a financing and insurance service offering
• Offering the real estate marketplace as an ASP solution
• Integration and development of a content management solution
• Personalisation of the offering for the requirements of surfers
• Development of a comprehensive B2B portal
• Integration of a CRM solution with commercial rules for complete business processes

The objective was to port the existing Perl/MySQL solution to J2EE architecture in order to account for the increased demands.

The implementation of the solution was done in collaboration with Infometis AG.

The solution is hosted by aspectra.
